"We create practical, everyday entry points into climate action rooted in local need."
What is it: Established by Yes Make, Material Cultures, RESOLVE Collective and the Mayor of London, Tipping Point East (TPE) is the largest climate futures centre in Europe, combining circular and bio-based materials at scale to create a regenerative supply loop for the built environment and creative industries in the UK.
Mission: TPE's central purpose is the dissemination of knowledge and skills around a circular construction economy and demonstrate material re-use. Founded in the spirit of collaboration, TPE brings together the interdisciplinary and material led research, education and supply chain development work that the three separate organisations are renowned for.
How: TPE will demonstrate the economic and practical viability of reused construction materials, as well as function as a site for education, training and skills development to accelerate the shift towards net-zero and develop the construction sector's green skill capacity.
Where: Based in the London Borough of Newham
