People Powered Democracy

"We cannot fix the challenges we face with better policies or better politicians alone. We need a better politics."

What is it: Our House is a movement for people-powered democracy.

Mission: To transform politics by building a democracy that gives everyone the power to shape our future. A future that works for communities, because it was designed by communities.

How: Through People's Charters: communities' demands for the changes they want to see in how local and national politics works.

Where: Supporting communities build their People's Charters across the Four Nations of the UK, so that the new democracy we build together represents all of us. To start Our House is working with the communities with the lowest turn out in the 2024 General Election, who have lost faith in politics, but not in each other.
